In 1996, Karin made the move from Munich, Germany, to the Edmonton area, bringing with her a wealth of experience in the dental field. With over two decades of service as both a Registered Dental Assistant and Receptionist, Karin holds the orthodontic module certificate from the University of Alberta. Since 2001, she has been an integral part of the Prairie Dental family. Outside the dental realm, Karin indulges her passion for travel and finds joy in tending to her garden during her free time!

In early 2021, Whitney made the journey from Ontario to Alberta. Her educational background includes graduating from the Level 2 Dental Assisting program at George Brown College in Toronto in 2016. Born and raised in the Philippines, Francis embarked on his educational journey by attending high school in Toronto. He later pursued dental assisting at George Brown College, gaining valuable experience in the field by working as a Dental Assistant for five years. Motivated to further his career, Francis pursued dental hygiene at the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene, graduating in 2020.
During his leisure hours, Francis loves socializing with friends and exploring the nuances of different languages. Embracing a diverse range of activities, he revels in travel, biking and hiking when the summer sun graces the outdoors. As the winter chill descends, Francis seamlessly transitions to enjoying activities like ice skating and snowboarding. His culinary flair extends to the kitchen, where he channels his inner Buddy from Cake Boss, showcasing a passion for cooking and baking.

Diane’s roots trace back to Saskatchewan, where she successfully completed her Dental Assisting Program. In 1989, she made the move to Alberta, embarking on a distinguished career in the dental field spanning over 25 years. Initially, Diane devoted 12 years to the role of Dental Assistant, showcasing her expertise in patient care. 13 years ago, Diane transitioned into the role of a Dental Office Administrator, bringing her wealth of experience to streamline administrative operations.
Diane thrives on interpersonal connections, finding joy in working with others and continually meeting new people. Outside the professional realm, she cherishes moments of relaxation spent with family and friends. Diane is an active volunteer, contributing her time to volleyball and football organizations. Embracing the outdoors, she nurtures her love for camping and gardening as additional pursuits that enrich her life.

Subsequently, she transitioned to the Optical Sciences program at NAIT, earning her Licensed Optician designation in 2017. In 2020, Brittney made a dynamic shift to the dental field, joining the Prairie Dental team as a receptionist.
With a genuine love for engaging with people, Brittney finds fulfillment in hearing and sharing life stories. Her personal priorities include spending quality time with friends and family, recognizing the importance of these connections. Brittney maintains an active lifestyle, embracing activities like camping, kayaking and hiking, especially during the warmer months. Following this, she accomplished her CMA designation (now CPA) in 2013, demonstrating her commitment to professional excellence. Ruby furthered her academic pursuits, securing an MBA from Queen’s University in 2019.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ruby finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. She appreciates a well-brewed cup of coffee, maintains an active lifestyle through workouts and golf, and has a penchant for exploring new destinations. Engaging in board games, cracking Escape Rooms and indulging her passion for interior design all add a creative touch to her interests. More importantly, Ruby cherishes quality time spent with her family – her husband, Dr. Patel, their daughter and the ever-playful Jasper, their beloved dog.
